Wanting to help others is the primary driving force of my life and by the grace of God, He has allowed me to do that. I have been in the financial services industry for more than 25 years and can honestly say I have enjoyed them all. The people I get to serve, the problems we get to solve, and the goals we have achieved are nothing short of amazing. Helping individuals, families, and businesses figure out their complex financial situations is our mission at Brightway Wealth Management.
When I’m not in the office helping clients, I enjoy being surrounded by family. I love spending time with my lovely wife, Lindsay, of 34 years, our four grown children, and our first grandson, William. We have a family farm in Southern Illinois where we spend many a weekend enjoying the outdoors and various horticultural activities. Men’s ministry is also a big part of my life. Any Tuesday morning at the Hill house you can find me digging into the scriptures with my fellow brothers learning how to be the men God intended us to be, not only to our wives and families but also in business.
The community I live in is also very special to me. I have a business and administration degree from Lewis University, graduating with high honors. I moved to Shorewood, Illinois in 1998 and have been involved in various community organizations and non-profit groups. I joined the Brightway team in January 2022 because I wanted to use my analytical skill sets to help others more than I was in my previous role. I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. I worked for a manufacturer for nine years wearing many hats, most recently as their Facility Engineering Manager.
When I think about the parts of this career that are the most fulfilling to me, seeing clients walking away from our reviews with new financial confidence always seems to be the center of my answer. No two households are alike, and I love making each blueprint to construct individualized solutions and strategies.
Outside of the office on weekends, you will find me with my beautiful family, at church, or hopefully on the golf course! I married my amazing wife, Alexandra, in 2020 with whom we share a son, William, born in 2021. We are expecting our second child, a girl, in September of 2023. Faith has always been the center of our relationship, and I know that is what led me to this role at Brightway.
